Yep. That's precisely what it is!

Since they're playing in Japan in the video, I'd guess it's a lawsuit Ibby or perhaps a Yamaha or Aria.
1. I think that's pretty much how his hair grows out. It seems pretty curly even though he keeps it relatively short these days.
2. Perry and Rollie both seem to have borrowed their girlfriend's blouses.

Judging by what the bass player's using, I'd say they had an endorsement deal with Ovation... Maybe a Viper or an Ultra Kaman II.

I agree with jtougas. You can somewhat make out the Ovation logo during the solo, and the guitars have the same type of bridge.

Correct...it's an Ovation UK II model
Its fuggly for sure. But Neal can always make a guitar sound amazing.
I'm an internet person. All we do is waste time evaluating things that have next-to-zero real world significance.
Remember, it's just a plank of wood. YOU have to find the music in it - The Telecaster Handbook

During the early 80's he was playing Aria guitars and I believe he was also an endorsee. Notice a pattern of tremolo equiped, LP shaped guitars with a bunch of knobs and switches?

In the late 80's he even had his own line of guitars made first by Jackson and then Larivee.

Nice work guys! Thanks!
Yeah, most guys write off Journey because of their cheesy pop stuff, but everyone in that band was a top tier fully awesome musician. Neal is no exception.

Yeah, listen to Rubicon, I think it's on Escape.
Great track.

Sappy love songs sell. It's a fact of life. Resistance is futile.
Journey plays those and full-on rockers well.
