    What,no Hat pics?

No Stevie Bees thread is complete without a hat shot.

    Nice trio of guits.
I'm an internet person. All we do is waste time evaluating things that have next-to-zero real world significance.

Remember, it's just a plank of wood. YOU have to find the music in it - The Telecaster Handbook

    It has a beautifull grain . . .
It is pretty heavy, unfortunately I've never played a Firebird so I can't compare.

We're still unpacking after the house move. The hats are still in a box somewhere!

That was the version I tried first and convinced me that I'd get the Esprit. The deal I got on the 2 'bucker Esprit V was too good to turn down. I'd definitely love to get an Esprit III to go with it.

Really nice guitars there Stevie. That Esprit is a fascinating beast - might have to try one of those out! Are you still thinking about putting single coils in the Legacy?

Played one of the Espirit's last time I was down in Nashville, totally dug it.

    Nice guitars!

Yeah, I figure it'll give me a good spread of tones. I might keep the JB Jnr in the bridge, but still pondering that...

    Nice guitars!
Yeah, I've been totally bowled over by it. I've always been a 'Fender' player, and have had minor issues when trying to play Gibson-type guitars (purely my own playing style, rather than the guitars). I've been gassing for about 2 years for something that would give me a mahogany/humbucker option, but that I could get my hands around. The Esprit has been perfect for that, and as my playing style is now more comfortable playing an instrument outside a Fender blueprint I feel much more comfortable when I try out Gibsons. I loved a Gibson Les Paul 60's Tribute I tried recently, and gas for that has been bubbling under!

I am also gassing for the Esprit III...
