He's still alive, i've visited him a few times and speak to him on the phone at least once a week. He hasn't had an internet connection at home, although i believe he may now have some access via his mobile phone. Pretty sure he reads here even if he can't post (I see him logged in sometimes during work hours).

Darnright, he sent me his new email address recently, and it works fine ... maybe you're still using his previous one ? (PM me the addy you're trying to use and if it's the old one, I'll send you his new one).

Haven't had internet or home line access for the last 4 months
and only been able to be on the net at work. Been overseas for a large part
of that too and really busy at work introducing a new IT system.
