    Default Is this a 498T?

This was in a '91 LP Studio I picked up. That year should have a 498T, but I didn't expect to find the patent number stamped on it. 14.26K
It didn't sound like an alnico V to me, it was too spongy, but I'm no expert. I took it out because it was microphonic.

I have an old 496R/500T before they started stamping them Gibson USA on the back.

The DC is right and the year is right for it to be a 498T. Is it regular spaced as well? I suspect wide spacing didn't happen until the switch to Gibson USA backplates.
