Well, they certainly used to...I have several on my carved top guitars.

But only in the carved top style. For flat tops, the bridge and neck rings are the same height...short.

Are you looking for the LP bridge position version by itself, or as part of a set?

I think they only sell it as part of the carved top set.

the set would be nice, but the listings at GC.com and MF dont specify that the bridge ring is taller

For the set, don't be fooled by the product shots:

    (Correct set)

I don't know who thought it was a good idea to have that photo for the carved set.

    Dimensions:

(Click on "dimensions for Gibson bridge")

The carved top set is the Gibson set. SD should probably update their terminology and product shots so people don't get confused.

Well, I'm sure Duncan can't use the word "Gibson" without paying a fee, and Gibson aren't the only ones who make arched/carved tops.

Then again, the regular flat rings can be mounted on top of standard rings, though the standard rings will have to be modified to accept the ribbon cable.

    No great loss, IMO.

That's the thing, they use "Gibson" right on their product page for the TripleShot. I would have assumed they would have just used carved top instead. Maybe mention "Les Paul" in the description if need be.

Not a big deal. It's just that keeping the terminology consistent makes it easier for everyone.

True. Didn't see the actual page myself.

But some companies have different definitions of "arched" and "carved" tops. I think Schecter has that Carpenter thing with the "carved" top and it's far more extreme than an LP?

All my arched/carved tops have such a wide curve to them that regular rings (including TripleShots) work just fine, though none require LP-tall rings.
Makes me wonder if some of these requests are for the sake of traditional appearance or actual need?

as long as that set contains one short ring and one tall ring, that's all i'm after
