Default What 2x12 cab for Marshall AVT50H?

I'm looking for a 2x12 can for a Marshall AVT50H. The input on the back of the Marshall head to Loudspeaker has 2 jacks, both 4 ohms. Manual for the head says to have both plugged in for total Marshall sound. (or something like that). So I was wondering what can I could use to do that. Or how to rewire a cab so this could work.

I'm on tight budget, so let's keep it cheap.

Running two cables to the same cabinet is pointless unless you're running stereo. Those are probably a pair of outputs wired in parallel with a minimum total impedance of 4 ohms. The total Marshall sound they're talking about is probably referring to a pair of AVT412 cabs which would be 4 ohms when used together.

For a 2x12 cabinet anything with an impedance of 4 ohms or greater will work. An AVT50H will produce 50W into a 4 ohm load, but only 25W into 8 ohms or 12.5W into 16 ohms so a 4 ohm cab will be loudest.

Ok thanks. Could I run a 2 x 12 with 2 speakers of 4 ohms wired to their own input jacks? I guess you would call that mono? Not to savvy on how you would call the different wiring patterns....:/

No. The outputs on the amp are wired in parallel, and a pair of 4 ohm speakers in parallel yields a load of 2 ohms which may damage the amp. Since the amp itself is mono, it's pointless to use both outputs unless you're driving two cabs.

Ok. I understand now (I think haha). Like I said I'm not too savvy, still learning. Do you have a wiring diagram that you could show me so I can have a total impendence of 4 ohms for 2x12 that could go with this head?
