Yes. I love a Gibson neck. Nothing like having a big huge piece of wood to grab onto.

I can get along with about any profile save for the really thin/flat Wizard-styles. Those I hate. Passionately.
My favorite necks tend to be big fat C shapes but a soft V don't bother me.
I don't really like the big D shapes that some people use with all the shoulder mass to it.. don't understand those.

Pretty much all my guitars are some variation on a C.
but I do like soft Vs and even PRS' wide flat. Super thing shred stick necks are ok to play on if they're setup nicely, but they don't feel nice in the hand.

Most necks suit me fine. I prefer a bigger neck and a bigger radius with bigger frets.
There are two kinds of people in this world that go around beardless—boys and women, and I am neither one

I'm starting to fall into this boat unfortunately. I've been extremely hard on my hands. No joke right? I'm missing a finger LOL. Ever since I've switched to my dominate hand as my fret hand, thin and narrow necks are a big no no. I use to love the original Wizard profile. Not anymore, 20 minutes on one and I'm in pain and fingertips are going numb.
I can still go from neck to neck on most guitars that aren't paper thin though.
Gear: More junk than I know what to do with

I used to be more picky than I am now. I still don't like super super thin necks but I can get along fine with Gibson 60's and even the thicker of the Wizards. My favorites are still the thicker profile with the Warmoth Boatneck being my top.

My tastes are very close to yours. The Wizard profile is revolting to me. I feel sick every time I touch one.
Also don't really dig necks with a big shoulder, but they're not a deal breaker.
My favourite neck is the one on my Duo Jet. It starts out as a soft V at the nut and gradually transitions to a thick C near the 9th fret. It also gets thicker the closer you get to the body. It feels very natural. I'd better stop before this becomes any more of a dick joke than it already is.

I like baseball bat necks, which I why I'm sticking to my SX Strats. Keep your wimpy Ibanez's and such.

I kinda like different shapes for different styles, drop and open tunings I like fatter necks, 50's LP and Warmoth 59 roundback style. For standard stuff I like the Jackson and ESP profiles. V-necks are what I really don't get along with very well.
Overall a flatter radius is more important to me than neck shape.

I have all kinds of neck profiles but my personal faves are:
Norlin LP
Gibson 60s slim taper
Dean hard (and I mean ****ing HARD) V
Those are about the same, preference-wise, for me. I have big hands with short fingers and huge necks and necks with big shoulders generally cause my hand to cramp up.
The 3 guitars that I play on a regular basis (Taylor, PRS C22 and Strat) all feel pretty much the same. For reference the PRS is the wide thin profile. If I pick up my Gibson the neck feels like a bat. If I use the Carvin it feels like there's no back. (sort of a Wizzard profile but a wee bit thicker.) It takes a while to adjust to those extremes but I can do it...I'd just rather not have to.

I have my favourite profiles, but I've been playing forever and enjoy adapting to whatever's thrown at me.
The only thing that bugs me on a neck is a heavy finish.
92 Fender Am Std Strat, Warmoth tele Partscaster, Gibson Flying V w/P90s, Jackson DK2S, Cort 12-string acoustic, Washburn 6-String, Fender P Bass, 5E3, POD HD, + recording studio and toys.

i prefer a big c shape but can get along with most things.
i dont like wizard style necks, even the one on steve vai's pogo guitar was bad. i also dont like hard v necks. the shape doesnt work with the way i hold my hand/wrist and really messes with how i play. other than that i can make almost anything work
I have my favorite neck shape (Warrior's neck carve feels perfect), but can play most others with the exception of Gibson's baseball bat. What I've noticed, the neck shape really inspires what and how I play. I can use the same amp and settings, but a guitar with a fatter neck will make me want to play more classic or slow heavy riffs, while a thin neck will make me want to play fast and hard. The tone is important, but how it feels dictates what I actually play which is more important. My Gibson Nighthawk has a different neck carve than the Warrior, but feels amazing in its own right. They both have their place depending on what I want to play.
Warrior = thin D
Nighthawk = slim 60's style

I've owned a lot of guitars over the years, but the few I've held onto have medium to large C shaped necks; that's where I feel the most comfortable. The recent Trussart that I demoed kinda sealed the deal that the really thin profile just doesn't work with my big hands. However, my '63 Tele has shown me than a medium C profile, although not 50's Gibson large, still has enough meat for me to play comfortably without having to look down at the neck while playing. I used to be adamant against anything less than a 1 11/16'' nut width, but the 1 5/8'' can work if the neck is fat enough.

For me, any neck pretty much goes. Never had a problem switching between different scaled necks, radius, or fret size either. Sure, I have a preference, but it isn't that big of a deal to me. I prefer baseball-bat necks (which is odd for someone who plays mostly metal), a rounder radius like a 7.25", 9.5", or 12" (I don't like a compound radius too much because they are really hard to set up to only be able to get medium action), and any fret size except for the extremely uncommon huge frets that make the neck feel scalloped.

Chevy, Ford, or Dodge nothing changes about the way I drive. Same thing with guitar necks.

I like fat necks but truely go between guitars with no real worry about it. Then again I am a total livingroom noodler.
