    Default assembling tips

    Hey guys
    how are you?!?!?!
im back again ahahah after a big abssence time.
i have a question as well
i sent both my charvel and fender(2 bolt on guitars with neckplate) to be repaired at a tech and now i received them BACK.
what i want to know is this : do i need any special tip or tool or machine to assemble back the neck into the body?
or is it just "plug and play" ???
    Q: )
    Thanks

    Fking hails back man
    ahahahaha thanks for the help
i just Spotted one tricky thing in my charvel
2 of the 4 screws that join the neck into the body ARE smaller than the other two.
So 2 longer and 2 shorter.
WHERE should i screw the shorter ones and where should i screw the larger ones?
    Q: ((((
My guess is that the longer ones goes on the bottom part and the shorter ones on the upper part

Be careful with that, a mistake could result in a screw coming out of the fretboard!

Maybe try putting all screws thru the neckplate and body BUT with the neck off. If everything seems leveled, then it's OK. If one or two seem higher or lower just swap them and put the neck side to side to check if no screw can go all the way thru it.

An Ibanez RG570 I had had an odd pattern, like:
Looking the guitar from the back, neck to the left, trem cavity on the right.
    long ------- long
    ...short ---- short

I just fiddled with them until everything was leveled.

EDIT: By leveled I mean the tip of the screws.

None of the screws that came out of it will go through the fretboard.

Just put them in, in any random order/place. If you get one screw that becomes very difficult to screw and it's not quite all the way down, then put that screw in another hole...that hole requires one of the shorter screws.
