Default New Bridge Day! Kahler content

    It's a 2700/2710 Killer.

It's pretty cool and just drops straight into a 2 point strat cavity.

It has adjustable radius & string spacing and also individual string height!

Unfortunately the mounting studs/knife edge kinda things didn't come at the same time but hopefully they shouldn't be too long.

In theory I could just use a countersunk head machine screw as a temporary fix but i'll just wait. I love the fact that it has no knife edges to wear out and the replacement stud pieces that it pivots on are $4 each.

Cool trem, weighs 50 lbs. I got one off ebay a couple years back to put in a Heartfield RR, but the block was waaayy too deep. Bummed me out. Falbo has it now.

It is very hefty! I'm setting myself up for back issues as the guitar is already quite weighty.

I think whammiworld sell shorter blocks but their prices are generally really extortionate on things other than the stud inserts and pivot points etc.

I remember looking, I don't think they had them then or something. I didn't end up keeping the guitar anyway, but I was really pissed that it didn't fit. That trem is just wicked looking.

I've been using one since...since...since before you were born (almost)! LOL!

I put one on this thing, it's a plywood plunker but I had the same model when I was 12. This one was an NOS body I found that had never been even drilled for anything. The trem opening was giant, so the Kahler Killer was one of the few bridges that covered it up. A Floyd would've left an air gap.

I freaked out about this bridge when it came out, it is so intelligently designed, but not the best performing bridge. It's quite stiff.

Looks like my old bolt-on warlock. I have wanted to refurbish it, but have not been able to find a bridge that fits the odd 72mm bridge posts.

Yours looks WAY nicer. How do those EMTY pickups sound in it?

I've been sitting on a killer for some time. Had it on a peavey nitro for a short time. Its a drop in replacement for the 2550 or whatever the cheapie strat trem kahler made. With the guitar fetish factory blowout, might put it to use!
