As for names, from the ones mentioned already I like the ClusterBucker the best, but I'd be more inclined to a name that hints to its' unique construction like the Diablo PATB or HawkPAxis or Parallel Blade or something cool that goes like so

Being this a user group forum, they should be dubbed the UGF-1SH and UGF-1TB... something like that.

As for a name, it has something of a Screamin' Demon, Hawkbucker, Diablo and Trembucker Parallel Axis. Mmm... how about "Diabolaxis" ???
Btw, the black matte version they posted on Facebook looks awesome and the discrete logo on the lower part of its face too.

I'd go for a H-S-H configuration, maximizing the options... what would Seymour Duncan suggest as an ideal single-coil for a matched pair of these? Can't wait to know the answer.

The tone is intended to be medium hotness, open and crunchy and primarily focused on versatility. EQ-wise there'll be a focus on the upper mids with the primary aim being good articulation and definition, even under heavy gain.

Some have expressed a special interest that when split it should go into an open and airy and harmonically rich lesser output tone. It should not be boomy nor have shrill high end.
