I'm pretty sure the poll was just to get a more accurate way of getting the general idea to MJ and Evan of how many they'd be making to get a better idea on pricing. You'll still be able to get a set if you want them. This wasn't the final call in for the pickups. They've not even said what the specs were, when we can purchase, or how to go about purchasing yet. You're still good my man.

I'm asking how many people usually flake on these special run pickups. How many people say, for instance, "I'll take two sets," and then don't actually buy them.

I'm down 100% for the pups. I've got a charvel So-Cal that really needs some new pups. Why not take a chance and try something unknown, like these pickups? Tone chasing is usually fun, and hopefully, these pups will work out well and give me the mojo my guitar has been lacking

That's what the matched set is actually.

We designed the neck pu, MJ will design a bridge pu based on the neck, however, chances are it will be the other way around i.e. the neck will actually be matched to the bridge MJ comes up with, that's how traditionally matched sets are made...
