I'm impressed to hear Evan's digging it.

    Names:

Instead of knuckle duster...I'm thinking knuckle-dragger!

Sledgehammer neck and instead of calling it the Sledgehammer bridge I think we should take a cue from the Gibson playbook and call it the Sledgehammer+
You'll use it, boy, and as long as you hate using it, you will use it more wisely than most men would. Wait. If ever you don't hate it any longer, then will be the time to throw it as far as you can and run the other way.”

I like the sound of sandblasted ring. Keep the whole thing matte...

A matte ring would look weird on some guitars.

I'd vote to just give us a gloss one, as it is more standard. Or make half matte and half gloss, and give us a choice when we order.

For the name, I still think Fuglybucker is the only possible name for it.

It might be funny for us, but you've got to remember that the name will be posted on the SD page forever....and nobody is going to want to buy something with a name like that.

Unfortunately that's right. Sucks 'cause I REALLY wanted Fuglybucker.

I think it needs a cool name, B-Rails, or PA-B or whatever doesn't really get me excited.

Knuckledusters are brass knuckles by the way, and I said SLUDGEhammer. Knuckle Dragger is kinda cool though, especially with the very custom features of this thing.

Atom Smasher is probably the coolest name I can think of though.

    A few suggestions:

    SantaBarbaraBucker
    SeeMoreBucker (or SeymourBucker)
    BlastBucker
    BuckshotBucker
    FuegoBucker
    MotherBucker

Didn't know that about the brass knuckles! Do you think it would be sludgey? With those poles I bet it'll be pretty present sounding.

With a name like that it betters sound AMAZING!

Shouldn't be sludgy, no. Maybe it hammers the sludge away, I dunno, just think it sounds like a cool name for a pickup.

Wouldn't anything with knuckles in it get confused with Bare Knuckles pickups?

Whoa Nellie, where I come from a knuckle dragger is a lead sled, or a customized Merc (or other) that's been chopped, sectioned, lowered, etc, to the point that when you drive it your knuckles almost can drag on the ground when you hang your arm out the window all cool like.

I've never heard it used in a racist context, but I guess that takes it off the list.

It's a multiple use word. In my area... it's a racial slur.

You know, these posts gave me an idea, how about the SoundBlaster?
SoundBucker or BlastBucker doesn't quite capture it.

    How about it?
