Today's assessment stands at being very happy with myself because I was able to make everything happen as it needed to happen today in a very chaotic, new, and very people oriented place. Nothing like meeting a hundred people in 6 hours.

Get to do it again tomorrow too.

God loves me, my wife loves me (most of the time anyway) my kids love me, my students mostly love me, and I am a happy happy camper most of the time.

yeah, i guess, sometimes moreso than others. But I'm a pretty smart dude, good personality, good character traits. I have plenty of flaws too but I'm working on them. I enjoy my company.

I don't have a healthy love for myself or like if I am to be honest and maybe thats where so many of my problems come from. I am just too negative sometimes and especially towards myself. I suppose I am gonna have to get over that hurdle if I am ever to have a decent life and a healthy, functional marriage in the future. In the relationship/marriage department, I have always settled for what I thought I could have. It always bites me in the butt, that has gotta stop. I know I have been off the deep end lately and I gotta get the car turned around and heading the right direction. I swear sometimes I feel uglier than a "schorced hog and very much like the "Don't let this be you" poster child! Gotta Love It!

Not at all. It's not likeness, nor hate. I'm mostly entirely indifferent to myself, average in roughly everything and/or thinking badly of myself when I bother to care at all.

In fact my entire life's been slowed down by huge confidence issues which have ****ed me up pretty badly. I'm completely incapable of doing anything good for myself (relationships, health, dreams) and I lack any sense of discipline.
Quite simply I find it much easier to take care of others than myself, and always have.

Yet I'd rather be as I am than some misled *******s who thinks they're the dog's bollocks, with a ridiculous unjustified feeling that the world is to provide for their needs and demands of their own selves above others.
I'd rather be lonely, sad, and myself, than disillusioned, disrespectful and yet successful.

There are times when I feel good about myself.
There are times I feel bad about myself.
There are things about myself I like
There are things I don't like.
Some of things I am happy/unhappy and like/dislike change, and some don't.

When there is something I have done wrong, I should feel bad about it, and work to become a person. I don't always.
When I have tried to do something and I don't like how well I have done it, I should try harder. I don't always.

There are things we should all acknowledge about ourselves that are good. I don't always.

There are a very few things about myself that I have to accept. There are a very few things I may not be able to change. I may not succeed, but I can always try.

When I have stopped trying, that is probably the time I have decided I love myself, and it's also probably the time I should least do so.

Life is tough, and complicated. Acknowledge it for what it is, and fight the good fight every day. [Cue Canadian Power Trio]

i am most content when i realize that i am being useful in the service of others - mostly my family but my friends and my coworkers and my community too ... i feel like/love of myself when i feel i am living up to my self chosen ideals of integrity, honor, commitment, etc ... if i am making measurable strides towards continual self improvement, i am most content

i know i am letting myself down when it comes to my healthfullness and that drags me down pretty bad ... i have started a baby-steps appraoch to turning that ship around as i deeply internalize the reality that i wont be much service to others if i drop dead at a young age and if i leave a bad example for my sons to neglect their healthfullness ...

Agree. My confidence and degree of happiness is the highest when there is enough money, and naturally...pussies around. I mean, let's face it, what good is money if you can't fuk, right?
