    Cool New Used Heritage Day

    This is a 1985 Heritage H170. 1985 was the first year of production for Heritage. I got this yesterday and installed a Gibson Burstbucker 1 & 2 set in it last night. It's a player. The finish is worn off a bit on the back of the neck. But it plays like butter. I'll be selling several other guitars to pay for this.

    I just weighed this 170. It's a light 7.4 pounds. That's a perfect weight.

    Sweet score! very nice burst, complemented by the zebras. I always liked the Gibson BB1s and BB2s too. I never could leave well-enough alone and always swapped em for Antiquities in my guitars!

    Nice - double cut LPs rock.
    For him who struck thy foreign string,
    I ween this heart hath ceased to care;
    Then why dost thou such feelings bring
    To my sad spirit - old Guitar?

    Even so, Guitar, thy magic tone
    Hath moved the tear and waked the sigh;
    Hath bid the ancient torrent moan
    Although its very source is dry.

    Excellent choice of a guitar! Heritage is what Gibson should be but isn't anymore.

    HNHD!! The 170 is a great guitar. Yours has bigger flames and the different pickups but it looks like my 170. Gratz on scoring a kick ass axe!

    That is seriously stunning.

    I could see that being my only guitar... maybe with P-Rails and Triple Shots... it's a Les Paul with a dash of SG vibe... pure ****in rock-n-roll.

    Please please please please please contact me first if you ever wana sell that thing... you could probably convince me to do some pretty terrible things for it.

    I played that model a few years ago (only Heritage I've ever come across) and thought it was wonderful. Played great and had an awesome, chunky tone. Congratulations, I'm jealous.
