I own a LP Classic Plus (50s neck) with the baked maple fretboard and 500T+496R stock pickups and I think it's a bright sounding instrument acoustically.
Because I play some medium gain classic rock stuff I'm thinking about the APH1b in the bridge and '59 SH1n in the neck.
Why? I assume the PG in the bridge would make it fizzy/harsh (therefore the APH1) and in many topics I read the '59 in the neck is a winner.
The middle position should give that milky/silky fat clean and the bridge position must deliver punchy but not icepicky or mushy driven chordwork.
The neck must be smooth, but articulate. Sorry for these descriptions
Do you think the APH-1b in the bridge and '59 SH-1n in the neck on this guitar is a good combination, both output wise and tone wise?
