Default Sunn Coliseum Lead, is it worth anything/is it any good?

There's a Sunn Coliseum Lead half stack for sale in the local paper for $450 and I was wondering if you guys could tell me something about this amp. All I know is that its old, late 60s early 70s, and that some musicians used them back in the day...Also is it worth anything, he even has the original tags and footswitch.

I don't know if they have any sort of collector's value, but IIRC Leslie West used to use one of those. http://www.dinosaurrockguitar.com/interviews/West.shtml

I remember reading something about Sunn in Richie Fliegler's "Amps" book...he was wondering what happened to all of the Sunn amps, which he equated the "Mississippi Queen" tone with. If you check out a copy of the book, that might help you. I have it at home so I'll see what it says tonight. Good luck!

I can't imagine you could lose money. I would do it for sure.
