Default Gibson pickup lead color coding

Is Gibson's color coding the same as Duncan's? I'm putting a JB in my SG (one pickup, volume and tone pots, mini switch to split). I connected all of the wires as they were with the 500T in there, but I'm getting alot of noise (it doesn't go away when I touch the strings like it is grounding problem) and the mini switch coil tap is reversed. As you can tell I'm not a wiring genius. Please help!

I also had to extend all five wires. All I could find at Radio Shack was copper solid wire (24 guage) in color coded to match. Is this probelm?
