Default Fulltone Distortion Pro..Nice Red Color,But Not My Cup O Tea!

So I Opened this pedal up and found that JB Weld crap all over alot of the components! This pedal really sucks and it's going on E Bay....It has this horrible buzzy and raspy solid state crap within chords...This thing is just terrible and a total waste of money!

Look elsewhere if you're looking into this pedal...Sucks!

Bought it from E Bay and I'm sure Fuller puts the epoxy on there to keep "tweakers" outta there...It's on E Bay as we speak anyway...

It's funny, your e-bay heading says: Fulltone DP1 Distortion Pro.."NICE"

Your heading on this thread says: Fulltone Distortion Pro..Cool Lookin Paper Weight!

and you go on to say: "This pedal really sucks and it's going on E Bay....It has this horrible buzzy and raspy solid state crap within chords...This thing is just terrible and a total waste of money!"

I think for truth-in-advertising you should change your e-bay heading and description to match your post.

First....Who are you? Do I Know you? LOL

I don't agree with your post, simply because there are just as many people that like the DP1 and know enough about it...I want to sell the pedal and I won't sell it if I Post what you say I "should" post....The condition of the pedal is "nice" and everything I Posted about the pedal is true...I don't feel I need to post anything negative, nor did I Post anything I felt was tonally positive.I just posted the facts about what the pedal is supposed to do..I'm also selling it for $10 less than I Just payed for it...People looking at the pedal know full well all about it and I won't lose any sleep over the way it's presented on E Bay...Just make sure you don't buy it if you find it offensive....

    John,

That's interesting you say that because I saw a really good band over New Year's and their guitarist (a Strat wielding Lefty) was playing it through an 18W Clone. He was using it for lead tones and it sounded really, really good. He also had a Fulldrive on his board and it sounded great, too.

Perhaps it works for some and not others?

There's no point in putting it on Ebay and saying it sucks. Someone else may very well love it.

I'm really suprised about this, tho, since i'm a big Fulltone fan. However, you can't hit a home run every time you're at bat. Perhaps they thought that the Fulltone brand would be enough to ensure success...?
Why don't you take your little Cobra Kais and get outta here?!

Right....It's pretty cool for lead tones, but once you play any chords, you get this horrible raspy crap that rides over your chords...It's very solid state and generic sounding and in a very un-tubelike way...It's not a smooth tone, but a sterile buzzy tone that I won't tolerate...It would make a pretty door stop here at home if I don't sell it...LOL

And I also liked my modded Vox 847 wah better than Lew's $260 Fulltone Clyde Deluxe wah....Not all of Fuller's stuff is the end all to tone in my opinion....
