That's kind of a cool shot. Not too surprising with the Strat, though. That intro to "Jessica" sounds like a Strat to me.....

Last time I saw the Allman's w/t D!ckie at the beacon ( 98' or 99'?) he
Used a red strat the whole gig ! Cept' the Qstick set. The 1st time I
saw the ABB at jones beach in 91' I was like 11th row .One of the goldtops
he was useing had p-90's in it. (That's where I got the Idea he used that
on ramble'in)I've even saw Warren Hayes use a Strat on a few
ABB tune. Duane used his trusty 54' Strat for most of his pre ABB studio
work. Most notable for LP's The ABB are no strangers to Strats![]()

also when jack pearson was in the band they used strats all the time
There's a picture on the back of one of Aretha Franklin's old albums of a recording session with Duane Allman playing as a session man. He's playing an old sunburst Strat in the pic. Lew

In the Insert that comes with the "The Road Goes on Forever" CD there is a B/W picture of Duane playing a strat with ****ey on his Les Paul.
