Had me stumped too. I love Blackwater Park too. Im literally ashamed of myself for not picking that one out!!!! Anyways, I started at 14 and your like in another galaxy compared to when I was 14. I would be interested in hearing your band. Do you guys have originals? I hope you got some dudes that you can jam with. It's hard to teach your friends stuff when your practiceing when all you want to do is get on cruise control...you know what I mean.

I know exactly what you mean, I'm super happy this bands back up and running. We're recording for sure on Friday, so we'll have 3 songs for you to hear. I'd say we're like fast melodic metal with a touch of hardcore. My main influences are Opeth, At The Gates, Carcass, and Death, the other guitarists are Carcass, Death, and some lighter hardcore stuff, the bassist is super into Victor Wooten and jazz stuff, he's godly, and adds a ton of cool stuff to our songs. The drummer is more into hardcore, but we push him to get better with double bass and blastbeats and whatnot.

Love all those bands! Nice for influences. Two of my top 10 All time favorite guitar players are in those groups. Them being Bill Steer and Chuck. Im glad you yound dudes are coming out and recognizing good Death Metal and REAL metal period.
