Remember the whole point of the vid is a WARMUP. This isn't some composed solo here, he's just shredding through patterns.

Well, a lot of guitarists are impressed with a display of technique and chops. Sure there isnt alot of soul in that vid (though is a warmup) but im sure there are a couple of people in the world who would love to play like that. I dont think we have to question whether or not Zakk can rock out and write good music.

I'm not a big fan of Zakk's playing or his "image", but I have to respect the amount of practice and time with the instrument it takes to reach the point he's at. Props to Jeffery Wielandt from Jersey!

Flank, believe me Zakk Wylde is not something I can really get into without having to bang my head against the wall a couple of times, but I don't know of anyone who can play with that kind of speed and emotion, at least that's still living today Let's set aside our buddy Jimi, I think Page is as close as it comes to that. If you ask me, Satriani can play faster, and even more technically, but who cares? I personally like friend Hendrix so much more, but maybe because he was so ahead of his time, but what you fools must understand is that ANYONE can play that with as much devotion and hard work.
