what amp?

whats a good practice/recording amp that costs less than 300 bucks? Right now I only have a 15 watt practice amp, and i want something a little louder. I dont need anything too loud, since i only play in either my house or my friends house and i cant have anything that's live volume.

Depends on what you're looking for. You can get great deals on some old low wattage non-master volume amps on eBAY like a Fender Champ or Gretsch amp. Otherwise one of those Roland Cube amps are great for practice.
