Default AC30 Custom Classic Finally Hits the Streets

I have been hearing about the new AC30 Custom Classics for quite awhile now. I see they're finally available online. I can't wait to try one:

They're going to have a whole line up to choose from, head or combo, different speaker choices. Looks interesting. I think they are made in either Korea or China at a factory that was set up by Mitch Colby. Should be cool.

Me four; I'd love to get a Bad Cat Tone Cat, but this is more practical.

    BTW, they're made in China.

From what I've read, Vox/Korg has very tight control over the factory and all the parts but the speakers are made in that factory. I'm not too worried about where they're made. The only thing I'd recommend is waiting a few months for them to find and correct any bugs they may have. These will be a practical alternative to boutique and I hope they deliver the goods.

$999 and free shipping for a new AC-30!

Are these really handwired amps? I need to do more research, because this is a great deal, if the thing is made the same way as the old ones. I doubt it, but as long as it sounds as good.....

PCB, at least that's what I've heard. The build quality is supposedly going to be a bit better than the Korgs.

The neww AC-30's are on a PCB, but I will tell you from experience, the quality could not be any worse than the 90's Korn reissues...my good buddy Ryan went through 4 different brand new AC-30 RI's before getting one that worked!

The AC-30CC, is a slightly different design, but I have heard very good things!

Just think how much they'll be after a few years, when they hit the used market.....$700!
