Thanks for the welcome Dave, I am glad to FINALLY be back with my SD family.....I wasn't really GAS'ing for the, but since it seems to be a good deal, I am going for it!! Besides, the seller is a student of mine, and he is going to allow me to pay $100 on the next 2 paydays, and 4 1-hour lessons for the next 2 months.... In that sense, I am getting an Explorer for $200 AND guaranteed jamm sessions for the next 8 weeks!!!!

Two upcoming purchases will be precluded by this deal.... New Pups, and a Hi-Gain amp..... Does it ever end???

Thankfully, NO!!!! There is only the beginning, but never and end!

    Thanks again for the feeback,
    Allen

Jolly, it does look like the Explorer IS the only Gibby you don't own.....LOL.

Dont worry guys, if by chance I DON"T buy it, I will let you guys know. And I would only charge $400 plus shipping......

My "Vintage Guitar Price Guide (2005)" suggests that the Explorer made in 1990 that you describe may be an Explorer '76 / X-plorer. If that's the case, and if this book has the faintest foggiest clue what it's talking about, it lists the *low* end of the price range at $750 !
