Default How are the Custom Custom for metal?

Hi guys..... i'm just wondering how the Custom Custom would work for metal and hard rock\80's rock?

From what i've heard, it's a really chrunchy, fat and warm sounding 'bucker with a loose bottom...... am i rigth?

Also, do you have some other opinions of this PU in general? Any clips?

    Thanks,
    -Erlend

That sounds pretty good! It has that prominent, cutting, fat chrunchy midrange i were looking for! I think i'll get a CC for the brigde position of the Schecter i'm getting!

I'll try to get my clip of the split CC and Hot Rails combination posted in the next day or two. Should give you a good idea.

Yeah, i like a roaring, thick 80's style tone for my rock needs

Also, i've heard that the Custom Custom is great for singing, sweet leads too?

    It must be perfect!

Well, it's clean and not at all metal, but I've got a clip of the split custom custom/hot rails in the tips and clips room. Hopefully I can get one that's a little dirtier soon. Hope this helps.
