I've heard James Tyler comment how he uses 500K with Classic Stacks, he felt they "open up" alot better. Most other singles in Tyler Guitars are 250K.

I had the classic stacks. The old versions are middier than virtual vintage, Kinman's, and Bill Lawrence 280's. I had 250K pots on them which worked. After I sold them, I heard a Jackson SL-1, which has them also, and they sounded way better in the Jackson. Asked around and Jackson uses 500K pots. The do open up a lot more with the 500K, which is what I would use with them.

I tried them with both and I thought they sounded best with 500K.
