If you've only got the patience for one, you should focus on learning all seven of the scale patterns in "Scales Are Everywhere..."

I will definitely look at those. I need to bone up on my scales, and see where they are applied. When I play, I have to make up fill stuff, so the more I know the fretboard, the better.
