    Hi!
    Which is less brighter pup? the hot rails,cc or breed.. I want to change my custom3 in my strat because it still quite bright.. My guitar anyway is a Fender American traditional w/maple fretboard... thanks

    I've never heard the Hot Rails described as "bright", ever.

    well i dont have a answer to your question but i have a duncan hotrail(b) in my usa strat and it is amazing! thers loads of mid and bass but it doesnt sound to deep. and you can get great natural and pinched harmonics if you trun the overdrive up.

    thanks for the replies.. I only in doubt about the clean of the hotrails and wanted a full humbucker in my strat...Has anyone tried the breed in a strat? thanks again

    I haven't tried the breed, but I can tell you that the Hot Rails and the Cool Rails are anything but bright.
