Default Little tweaks and such...Marshall'esque sounds

Well I just got alittle bit curious here, I have two different Plexitones here, one that is almost compression free and very clear, slightly dark too.
Then I have one that sags alittle more and is abit more airy, alittle more crisp and compresses slightly, you know just that little that makes you feel the note in an more intimate fashion.
    Which one would you prefer??
One is fast and big, very clear and lots of glassy bite, the other slightly more saggy and wails abit more, compresses mildly, but also has the same thing as the normal one but abit more on the bluesier side.

Sorry about it, but I am just really curious, and I know that you're a good crowd tonewise

Well, I played a JTM45, which I think is more of an amp that suits your second description, and I just loved it, perfect for me. So, Im gonna have to say, #2 definetely.

Rid I am sure they both sound great. The glassy tone with less compression sounds more appealing to me, I think.

    Hehe two different answers sofar
Well it is just one components value that is reduced to get the slight sag and compression, well I'll test it some more tommorow on the big Hiwatt.

I tend to like a softer feeling OD plugged into a clean/hard sounding amp.

I'd use the less compressed one on an overdriven amp. Maybe not the answer you're looking for, but you might agree?

Send them both to me, and I'll let you know in a little while.

Seriously, I think I would like the one that sags, compresses and wails more. I still haven't ordered my OD pedal yet, and I keep eyeing that Plexitone. I am as fickle as a little girl lately.

Yep I do, but then again I have my exceptions as well
Well Jeff...hehe if you do get one and want it to sag some more, just contact me and we will figure out something for you, that would be the least we could do for you
