Default 96-98 Fender MIM Standard Strat Question.

As you all know, I have been loking for S-C sized Humbuckers for my strat:

I have a MIM Standard strat s/s/s (The guy who I bought it off of said he bought it in '98, but the serial number suggests possibly '96)
ANYWAY, I was wondering if these are routed for something other than s/s/s...please help! Thanks.

Someone just told me it could be routed like h/s/s or h/s/h, so I was wondering. I prefer the looks of s/s/s but putting in a full sized Humbucker will open up my choices and probably get the sound I want (I dont want to route my guitar for h/s/s if it's currently routed for s/s/s).

If i remembered correctly my MIM 96' was routed S-S-H under the pickguard.

Thank you, I also found this in a review on harmony-central:

    "Sound: 9
Put in a complete Lonestar assembly. The routing on these mexican strats handles a humbuck in the bridge position, but it's not a swimming pool, it's a perfect S/S/H bore. I find the poplar body very nice. Excellent acoustic resosance, a little less bottom-end bite, and very light. I have another guitar with a poplar back, and I like its' midrange resosance alot - so I took the chance. It sings with the Seymour Duncan S/S/H configuration with the poplar wood. This experiment worked out well."

You can just loosen up strings, remove a few screws from the pickguard and take a peak under the hood.I was surprised to when I found my Am.Standard had swimming pool route, but I can put anything want in it.

Thank you!! Thsi is good because now I can put in a Full sized Humbucker, and I get more choices....but then I wont have the s/s/s look.....hmm.... sound comes before look!

I took KJRocks advice, and loosened some screws and loked under, couldnt see that well (even w/ flashlight) but I looked like it...so I stuck my trem arm in there and.....YES.. h/s/s routing!
