Default A tough one...I think, need help

    Here's the plan :

SL59 in the bridge, SVR in the middle, SCR in the neck.

Split the 59 with pushpull volume pot

not sure what the series/parallel thing does, but I'd like to try that too.

I don't think there's a schematic for this on the site, can anyone help me with this, please?

    thanks,

That should be a killer set up. Here's a starting point for wiring:

Then add in this basic concept:

Red and white of the pup you want to split.

If you need, I can make a custom diagram. Let us know.

I have a 50's re-issue Fender Strat with a SD little 59 in the bridge.
I have it split with a push/pull on the tone pot. I don't know nuthin about schematics myself.... but the pickup sounds very authentic in split/single coil mode and I've had quite a few comments about how much of a good of a classic strat sound it has.

When used as a humbucker it is loud and proud, but still smooth... being on a strat, the natrual 'twanginess' of the strat combined with a humbucker lets you find tones that are at times approaching a P-90 or a Mini-humbucker and I can sure get a very realistic Jazzmaster sound out of the guitar (and that figures... fat pickup with a fender guitar)

When you play it through a real hi-gain amp or pedal you get that modern punk/metal sound if you want it....
Play it through a classic marshall and you even get a bit of an EVH sound

I'd have to say though... as heavey as it gets... it's not the sound of a Les Paul... not when it's in a Strat.... but if you wanted a Les Paul... you'd have a Les paul right?

Pickups arrivcd today in the shop, but I probably won't have time untill the weekend to put 'em in. I'm waiting for a pearl pickguard and pushpull pot anyway.

I don't want a LP sound, I'm actually kinda tired of that, but although I love the typical strat sound for clean, it just doens't really work for heavy riffing for me. Although with the Barber TonePress I got today, it's already way better.
