Thanx for listening & I appreciate you leaving a comment.

Guitar = Seagull Acoustic > (2) AT 4050 mics > Avalon 2205 mic pre > Pro Tools HD.

Vox > sm57 > Presonus TubePre > Pro tools HD (my preferred vocal chain as of late).

after one listen (as im sure you know with me, this could change after a few, lol):

    not bad,

the vocals throughout the song, imo, should be lowered slightly, they are overpowering.
i dig the acoustic guitar throughout, great piece of music you wrote there.
the beach thing is sweet! persoanlly, i wouldnt mind more of it!
the vocals in the beginning verse sound very crowded, like there are to many lyrics.

    remember, its all my opinion...

o0o, much better with the levels.....the guitar also sounds more lively now, it sounded dull before...probable because of the weird level thing...

I usually view the forum at work, and I have no speakers there so I can never listen to clips. Now I'm at home, so I thought I'd give this a shot, and I am glad I did.

Excellent song, excellent performance, and excellent production! You are worthy of the hype. I like the way you mixed the drums (I don't know why I noticed that, but I did), and every instrument was recorded very well. I would bring the vocals down a teeny bit if I were mixing it, but other than that the production is perfect.

The biggest strength you have by far is songwriting. You've really captured the moment with this one. I can picture it playing as the closer for a TV show set on a beach, like Lost or The OC or something like that.

    Nicely done boy!

    hey, thanx. That was ratherniceofyou!
are you talking about 'beach house' when u talk of drums. Cuz there are no drums on there, but a bunch of inadvertent hand/pick on gtr body clicks. I kept them in there cuz i thought the sounded cool/appropriate.
    thanx again yo!

Yeah, it was Beach House, and I should have said cymbals, not drums. There were cymbals, right? You panned them very nicely.
