    Default fender jazzmaster pickups

hey guys, just wondering if someone can help me i've got a jazzmaster and i wanna get some new pickups but i don't really know what i'm doin, i wanna get like a heavy, punky kind of sound kind of like bush just as an example, and from what i've read i was gonna gonna get the sh-1 or aph-1 but like i said i dunno what i'm doin, say i get the sh-1 for a decent heavy sound do i get the sh-1 pickup in the bridge AND neck or just 1 or the other, and if i'm supposed to get 1 or the other what other pickup should i get with it?, or should i not get the sh-1 or aph-1?, i do know i wanna get like a double humbucker though, i'd really appreciate it if someone can gimme some advice thanks alot.

I'd suggest taking a look at the Jazzmaster Antiquity pickups
Seymour is a fan of Jazzmasters, so I would trust him to make a good version - just like his other Antiquities!

I put Antiquity 2s in my Jazzmaster and I love them... they're hotter than the regular Antiquities. I wanted to be able to nail vintage Jazzmater tone... when I want some Dinosaur Jr grind I let my Dual Rectifier take care of that and the pups accomodate very nicely! I have a friend who swears by the Duncan "Hot" model.
1978 Lefty Gibson Les Paul Custom (C5 bridge, Jazz neck) with Jimmy Page wiring
1996 Lefty Fender Jazzmaster (w/ SD Antiquity IIs)
2003 Lefty Taylor 414RCE (Rosewood Limited Edition with Expression System)
Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier 3-channel through Marshall 1960A cabinet via THD HotPlate

As far as I know, humbuckers like the ones you mentioned will not fit in a Jazzmaster. You'll have to either look at the Jazzmaster pickups on this page, or on this page.
