    Default Ibanez RG 320 DX

    Hello,

    I need a little help.

    What are good p/u's for an Ibanez 320 DX. Looking for a set that has very good highs and mids with plenty of low end crunch for grungy/metal.

    I tune 1/2 step down and sometimes a whole step down using Ernie Ball's 10-46.

    I'm thinking you might like a Custom/Jazz combo, but a little more info on the woods of that guitar would help.
    • Ibanez ART600TK (Custom8/Air Norton)
    • Schecter C-1 Classic (JB+Custom Hybrid/Jazz)
    • Schecter A-7 Avenger (EMG 707/607)
    • MIM Fender Strat (Stock)
    • Vox V847 / Crybaby From Hell (Fasel) --> VisualSound Route66 --> Boss BF-2 --> CH-1 --> Fulltone FatBoost 3 --> Line6 DL4
    • Mesa/Boogie Mark IV-B short head (SED =C= 6L6) + Ear Candy BuzzBomb 2x12 (V30/C90)
    • Vox Valvetronix AD30VT

    i think the Custom would sound great in that guitar.

    if you are planning on using the single coil in the middle i'd recommend getting a lil 59 or jb jr.
    and for neck, i think a 59 would sound great in that too!

    I used to have a 270DX

    Distortion bridge and '59 neck ripped in that baby, I had a screamin demon in there once too that sounded good.

    i'd pick the Custom in the bridge for its overall versatility. if you solo in the neck the Distortion/ Full Shred would be good contenders.
