Thinkin I'm gonna put some chrome pickup rings on it, the dice were just some knobs I had layin around...I'm thinkin that I'm not gonna go with the traditonal chrome dome knobs...but somthing else chrome would be cool.

Korina is simply one of the most beautiful things to be seen on a guitar. That super tele is freakin' sweet! I'm not much for coil splitting with humbuckers, but it looks like one heck of a setup and I'd love to hear clips of it

nice strap!!! i gotta get one of those!

oh yeah, the tele is cool too. LOL

seriously, cool idea that came out looking good! although i think all black hardware would have went a bit better due to the dark streaks in the wood.

The first incarnation was the tele bari: Baritone guitar, abalone pickguard, I put a dimarzio breed bridge and chopper neck in there:

Next incarnation was the tele cool: This is where I got the scalloped board...diamond plate guard, flame bridge and control plate, put a dimarzio fred and two choppers in there. Later on the choppers were replaced with lindly fralin blues specials.

I would have kept it as the tele cool, but the body was a bit uncomfortable, plus a little flash for my tastes...I kinda like to keep things a little more subdued .

Both those were before I switched over to duncans too...

So, for the new body I wanted somthin special, so I settled on a one-piece korina body, and put a couple of hums in it. Simple, but reeks of awesome.

holy crap i LOVE that finish! looks great with the diamond plate too

I'm not sure if anyone actually plays a scalloped Tele, but his name would have to be Yngwie-Bob.

Great looking Super Tele! Very nice.
It made me very nervous to see it so close the the water.
    Beautiful pics nevertheless.

Looks very much like the G&L's Invader. Very nice.

Ah, it was an alder/maple top combo...I wanted somthing a bit more exotic than alder (already got a few other guitars made out of alder). Plus, the standard tele body was just a little too bulky for me, I like to sling my axes a little higher than normal and the edges were jutting into me. Plus...the bridge wasn't mounted correctly, blah blah blah blah...

it just had a whole bunch of problems, but looked really cool, so I decided to trade flash for tone, and I'm pretty happy with it now
    Peace,
    Dan
