Default ok this might test you

i need help picking a bridge pup for my frankinstein baritone! its currently set up for slide tuned A.E.A.C#.E.A. which is really bass territory...i need a full size humbucker(because single coils won't work with the sustainer driver pickup at the neck ) I am also looking for a rails style because i am still experimenting with tunings and may add 2 more strings(doubling the bass strings an octave higher like a twelve string). Soundwise i want something clean and clear that won't wimp out at the low register...as you can see i need help in possably more ways than one

I think you want the Dimebucker or something from Bill Lawrence.

thanks , i think i'll chance the dimebucker, if only because its one of the only full size rails i know off (and my sustainer driver won't work with single coil size humbuckers). Does anyone else know of alternatives?

IMO the custom and distortion are both clearer than the Dime

But fullsize and rails woud = DIme, or the CS "El Diablo"

I forgot about the SH-9 Silverbird. It's got rails and was supposed to be pretty clear. I haven't tried it personally, but it might be worth looking up.

I have one , I wouldn´t recommend it as a bridge pickup, too weak in the output department, IMO... They´re rare, but I think I´m starting to understand why they were discontinued

From what I understand, The Gibson Tony Iommi Signature pickup is of the rail design. I can't say for sure, because its internals are encased by a simple pickup cover and encased with epoxy.

The clarity, and clarity of each string within a chord is fantastic.

I just fishished a review yesterday. Here is the link if you are interested.

Thats 2 for the El Diablo with rails. My Demon is super clear and tight on the bottm end. The El Diablo is the same thing wound hotter with a ton of output(18k I think).

Or I imagine you could order any duncan pup from the custom shop with rails.
I'll have a Gibson Flying V straight into a Mesa, hold the BS please!!!!!
