New Godin LG P90 for cheap!!!

A local store is clearing out some stuff this week and i can get a Gold finnished Godin P90 LG guitar with Gig Bag for $360 Canadian plus taxes.... it's new and has been sitting for a while at the store.... Think that one has been hanging around for over a year and a half..... The LG P90 in the finnish i want is closer to $600 Canadian.... I like the Conac Burst finnish and i also like the Natural satin finnishes too...

Time to decide what to do.....

Damn, I passed on that gold finish one a few years back and I regretted it. You've got a chance to get this great guitar at a STEAL! Do it, man!

If i found a godin cheaper then it should be, I'd buy it. Even if i already had the same one. They are such wonderful guitars from what I've played. I'm trying to get a signature lg as we speak.

Machined in Canada, Assembled in the USA, all Mahogany 24 3/4 scale construction.... and they come with Duncan made P90's.... And they are inexpensive for the most part even at full rate....

I got the chance to A/B it against the PRS SE Soapbar guitar (the single cut version) and I much preferred the Godin. The neck felt much nicer (it's non painted, and is thick-ish.. not a 50s LP neck but not thin) and it had the better tone too, IMO. The Godin is a bit ruder sounding; it's got more of a bark to it when the gain is wound up, but it still has an excellent clean tone. I also tried the double cut Gibson Les Paul with P-90s, on a separate occasion so I can't directly compare the tone, but I do know that I far prefer the feel of the Godin neck to the Gibson neck.

The Godin is fairly loud unplugged too, mine resonates like a beast... So, if you don't like the stock pups you've got a great chassis for replacements
