    Default Let's metali-ify my RG7620!

    Hey guys.

I want to gear my RG7620 towards metal and nothing else. I want pickups that really push out a heavy signal, enhance the scooped mids of the Mark III, remain articulate, percise and edgey, but also susatinful and thumpy. I am open to any brand. However, I don't think I want to go any where near active pickups for right now. Cleans are not a factor in this either.

Think along the lines of Petrucci, Symphony X and Disturbed tone.

    Thanks for the help!

I loved the custom in my RG1077XL....

Here´s a track I used that setup on, actually turned my mids all the way down to 12 o´clock on teh V-twin, so it definitely goes in the general direction of an M III

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page...?bandID=126926 ... Subache - Doomed to Fail is the track in question... there´s no live bass or drums, but it´s professionally recorded and "quickiemastered"

At first I had a Dimarzio Blaze in my 7-string, a bit later a ToneZone-7. But I prefered the Blaze!!
