    Default P-90 sized magnets?

    I want to purchase some A2 magnets to try one of my P-90s. Anybody know where I can get them?
    teles? voxes? what is happening to me?!

    Sizewise they are the same as magnets used in humbuckers.

    If you don't mind buying about $75 worth, try www.allstarmagnetics.com. If you can't afford that, I think www.stewmac.com sells magnets but they may still be part of the pickup winding kit and not sold separately.

    40's and 50's P90's all used the longer magnets as used in the pre-'60 PAF's. (Gibson designation M55 ?)...width and thickness the same.

    The catch is that P90's use two bar magnets each, not just one.
