Thanks buddy! If the line up was off,I'm pretty anal and would have done something about it....I thought everything lined up pretty nicely, especially the neck position...

To me "F Spacing" is for "Fender spacing".....That's a whole nuttha thing!

I agree...even in those newer Standard Gibsons a standard spaced bucker fits better but some people get all crazy about it...

Yeah.....I'm lefty and I can't get too worried about these types of things, especially staggered poled strat pickups! I don't special order pickups and if I do go stagger poles,I Just install the pickup backwards on my guards.

Damn! You'll have to go back and edit all your posts about the 59N now!

I had a 59N in my Love Rock for quite awhile and the posts are still very valid and fresh in my memory...

I switched it over to A4 though if you remember...This is my other guitar(My SG)

My Love Rock now has a Jazz/59N A4 hybrid in place of the 59N A4....Keep up with me damn it! LOL

John maybe it's me, or maybe the camera angle or something but you can't see the high E and B strings completely off the pole pieces, especially the bridge pickup? In an ideal world the strings should run down the center of the poles. With F-spaced Dimarzios this happens. Most people don't notice 1/16" of an inch but I do.

I think I need to make a tag line, "Everyday I feel like I am becoming more like Adrian Monk"

Guess you didn't see the in the post? But now that you mention it, you are right. All your posts about the 59N in the Love Rock are fine. You just have to edit all the ones about the SG!

Yes both E strings are slightly to the outside of the poles on the pickup...At least when I bend those strings,I'm bending towards the center of both poles.I see that my A and D poles line up perfectly,as does all the strings on the neck pickup.I don't hear any loss in volume on the E strings and if need be,I could pick both of those screws up a bit...It's fine and I'm not too concerned about it actually....I Love that VPAF Hot bridge pickup though! That one stays!

Just for sh$ts and giggles,I'll take a look at the spacing of the original Gibson pickup that was once in the bridge position and see how it lines up? I had a Dimarzio Fred in there a week ago and maybe that one was F spaced? I'll check that pickup also? Thanks forum brother...

Hey guys, I tried the Air Zone in my friend's LP and it sounds nice although not as clear as I like in a pickup. I also tested the VHPAF in his LP Standard. Also, very nice but there always seems to be something with Dimarzios that bug me. I have been testing a Wolfetone Marshallhead bridge pickup and I can't find anything to beat it but the Rio BBQ and Duncan C-5 were also nice. My one complaint about Dimarzio is they look really cheap. Why is that? Just curious...not causing trouble because they sound good!

It is a similar thing that i hear in PRS pickups, not as lively as I like in a pickup. Hard to explain, but you know when you hit it right. They scare me because they seem made so cheap compared to something like Duncans.

Lively and 3D is something I've been enjoying with both of my VPAF Dimarzios...The VPAF Hot bridge is excellent....The neck VPAF balances great with the bridge pickup, but it's a bit boomy for me on the Low E and the A strings....

I don't agree that the Dimarzios aren't made as well as the Duncans? At least not with the VPAF series!
