Default Question about Clapton's slide setup

Hey all, I just got myself a chrome slide to try out, its a ton of fun to use every once in awhile.

And I just watched the Crossroads Festival video where Clapton plays "If I Had Possession Over Judgement Day," and his slide playing is incredible! What kind of slide and tunings does Clapton use on his slide guitar? Anything else I should know about blues-rock/classic rock slide guitar playing would be really helpful too. Thanks!

Well I beleive that song was in open...o **** E maybe?

As for the guitar its his signature fro ma couple years ag oso check which lace sensors were in there. It is a glass slide but the size I do not know. He has higher action obviously and a whole lotta feeling, that song is great and he does a great job on the DVD.

I'm not sure about Clapton but I thought open G was popular for slide?

Just make sure you slide into the note and the note is in pitch at the fret not between the frets.

I think I did a Google and found some good sites - I'm not an expert at all.

Sliding also has to do with the velocity and acceleration of the slide along the strings, but once you get a certain feel for it, it's great.
