    Default Needed: A four-pole double-throw toggle switch...

I need a source for a four pole, double throw switch! It does not have to be a mini-switch, as the jack-size hole for the switch is already in the guitar body.** A mail order electronics retailer, or super-retailer is just as good to me. An all black switch is preffered, if possible.

Always appreciated, I thank you guys in advance.

**The purpose of this switch is one part of a two part guitar mod: Modding the Epi Iommi SG body to relocate the output jack to the botton edge, and fill the old output jack hole with a toggle switch that will allow parallel (non-humbucking) output from the Iommi pickups. If such a mod would make the guitar sound P-90-ish...I would be totally jazzed!

Dom, that sounds like the ticket! The size is perfect! However, I am drawing a huge duuuuhhh when it comes to the three on-on-on poles. I know what to do with two of the poles.

I would not mind a "silence" mode (no guitar, shunted and silenced, no squeel). I am at a loss to figure that extra wiring mode.

Technically, thats not what you originally asked for. You want an on-on switch. The trouble is, those are hard to come by in guitar parts providers.

I believe that AllParts has what you want. Go to this page and scroll down to part # EP-4370-010 for $12.50.

btw - If you want to use the one that Dom linked to, you can, but be warned, that it doesn't work the way you might think. Go to this thread and look at the bottom of my first diagram. Thats the way that switch works. When in its in the middle, two terminals are up, and two are down.
