Default 5 New Tracks - Somewhat New Style

Been working on a lot more 'musical' things with my stuff lately. Basically, I'm trying to combine traditional black/deathmetal with atmosphere and soundscapes.

Since my band is basically going kaput (not official, I just have a really bad feeling), I've decided to persue doing this as a solo project much like Tesseract. I'm using the money I would've bought to buy another live axe to snag DFHS, and will be grabbing an Mbox down the road to mic up my amp better and well set up an area to do it more consistently, as I will be able to rearrange equipment without a band.

It's the top 5 - at this point I'd say End of the World or Aggressive Man Chug is my favorite.

Wow dude.. i just listened to those two songs and i must say i like these 10x more than what you have put out in the past. Aggressive man is a little repetitive at first, but the rest of the song is excellent. The outro reminds me of bleak haha. I assume these are with the Mesa? Sounds like it anyway. Great tone, like it more than Drucifers actually.

I've only had time to listen to "atmosphere" thus far but I can hear the direction change with the bigger textures, tesseract influence. Very good stuff as always man.

I just put on End of The World, and the first impression I got was Textures! Definitely not a bad band to draw influence from

To me, what is more impressive than the way he rips it up at the age of what, 15, is the way he composes and mixes. DSS, I'm loving how each song builds layers, then progresses into a different chord progression. That keeps it interesting for me instead of verse, verse, chorus, verse, solo....like I do, LOL.
    My songs....enjoy! (hopefully )

There are parts of each of those tracks that are AWESOME, but also some parts that feel quite repetitive to me. Maybe vocals or an additional instrument is still missing from these parts though? All in all very cool stuff. I think your recto setting on the pod is a bit overgained in spots though- too much fizz if that makes sense.

Very nice. Now I know what tone to shoot for on my podxt.
What model is that (main rhythm)?

Oh...I haven't yet been able to reign in the fizz on that one.
I've been using the Deity lead lately for my 7 string.
haven't had time to do any clips yet.

Listened to End Of the World...

Wow, amazing stuff. The layers and textures are excellent, and it gives me a real Devin Townsend kind of vibe. I'd love to be in a band with you.

I liked the tone as always.
organic, and growling. the ay i like it
the atmospheric parts fits the song... and definitely are NOT FAG. ahahahaha has some bands do.
my favorites are : Atmosphere, Grind(need to raise the guitar output on the blastbeatings.) and this track reminds me of decapitated-spheres of madness. eheheheheh , and the chugga man. on this respective selection

Thanks! That's a huge compliment, judging by the quote on my MySpace... http://www.myspace.com/jeffdunne

Thanks WFD, i'm glad I'm not a fag! And yes, I was listening to a lot of decapitated when listening to that. I need to lower the velocity of the snare hits on the blasts, actually.
