Default Identifying marks on SD SSL-1 Strat pickups?

I'm looking to buy a used set of these and want to make sure that I'm getting the real deal. How do I identify these?

The pickups that I might buy have stickers on the back that say:

    1L on the neck pickup
    2(?)L on the middle pickup

The bridge pickup has a baseplate (aftermarket) that was put on it, so I can't see the sticker.

The wires of the black and white cloth type, and the bobbins appear to look like fiberboard in the picture.

    Are these SSL-1's?

    Are they good pickups?

If they are SSL-1's, then they are a great vintage sounding pup.

    My SSL-1's go like this:

Neck: small white sticker that says "1"

Middle: small white sticker that says "R"

Bridge: small white sticker that says "1"

I bought my SSL-1's back in '99 or so, they may have changed it from what mine have on them. I DO think they are excellent vintage pickups, and am seriously considering do a single ply white pickguard with 50's cloth wiring, an original 3-way, and those pickups for my Highway 1 Strat. Should sound really sweet and glassy if i decide to do this, but i do like its factory pickups too! Decisions, Decisions!
