I swear it even looks darker than that most of the time. In a normally lit room, it looks more maroon. Some day I'll capture it.Originally Posted by TheJangus

Ya know, for a goofy dude, you got real taste! LOL
You're pretty intelligent too, so I'm assuming the paint chips you ate as a kid just kick in from time to time! LOL
And, that shirt is YOU!!!!

As someone who wears his guitar a little on the high side, you gain some cool points with me. The shirt adds a few cool points too.Originally Posted by seafoamer

I swear I have this theory about people who wear their guitars high. I'm telling ya before I even hear a person play I can usually guarantee that the person will be an excellent player when I see the guitar slung way up high. It's just a personal theory I have developed after numerous times of it proving itself true.
I get weak in the knees at the sight of a vintage Fender amp!

I love the LP Jr. I don't deduct cool points for slinging guitars high. In fact, I take points away from guys who sling their guitars so low that you have to have gorilla arms to play it.
Duncan Pickups in currently in use: '59 (rewound to PATB-3)/'59, Custom 5/AP2H, Tapped QP set for Tele, Duncan Distortion, SP90-1/SP90-2

That shirt is all about efficiency. Polishes his guitar as he plays. lol

Ah...the low slung guitar debate...I was playing this gig with a dude once, and I was wearing my guitar a little on the high side. Nothing too drastic, but that particular axe feels better a little high. The guy looks at me and says, with tons of attitude, "I know you went to Berklee and everything, but could you wear your guitar a little lower?" F'ing killed me. For one, I didn't go to Berklee, he just assumed that was the music school I attended, and two, how does that have anything to do with where I wear my guitar?!?!?! Man this is an image driven business! (the pop/rock gigs are anyways)
Seafoamer: Sweet axes! That 175 is super rad...I'm even okay with the shirt!

like the shirt... guitar needs a floyd

Since it seems like a topic of interest, I'll clarify: I did not adjust the strap before the pic, but I did raise/hold the neck at an angle so that the whole gtr would fit in the photo. So, I guess, I play with the strap that high, but with the neck more parallel to the ground.
thnx 4 the compliments on the shirt & gtrs!
