    Default "Classical" Electric?

I wonder what an electric guitar made from the same materials as most classical acoustic guitars (pine body) would sound like. Any ideas? Would dual Jazz be a good idea for such a guitar, or something else? Just bouncing ideas.

Classicals have cedar tops and rosewood sides and backs with mahogany necks.

I think Genesis makes some cedar axes, as does Parker (I think).

Maybe he meant mahogany body with a cedar/spruce top, like a LP...

Don't know in either case but I wondered about it before, just thought it was silly since no one ever did it before... or maybe they did and even id they didn't I'm being silly all the same.

    LOL nice avatar.
Uh, I'm just wondering what it would sound like and what pickups would be recommended. Just curiousity. I'd think it would be an interesting project. But I'm wondering if clear body wood plus clear pickups (jazz) would be overkill

Parker had a model with a solid spruce body as well. I think it was a piezo acoustic model though.
