Default For Trade! Rare SD humbucker!

Hi! I have a white bridge Pearly Gates Plus humbucker up for trade. I'd like to trade it for ANY high-output Duncan bridge humbucker of pretty much any color (although interesting colors like pink or red would take preference), or a Dimarzio Super Distortion.

I'm not on this forum very often, but I do post at Harmony Central under this same name and have done a couple trades there if you need references. Also, I can give you my eBay member name and history if you need other reference.

Please email me at annusmirabilis@hotmail.com for offers, and put something in the title about pickups so I know it's not junk mail. Thanks!

IIRC, you can't get a Pearly Gates Plus normally from Seymour Duncan, they come in a certain Fender Strat... the model name is escaping me.

Yep, not rare at all and easy to find. It's simply an A5 mag instead of the A2 in the regular PG

Oops, sorry about the misnomer. I hadn't seen the Pearly Gates Plus for retail sale outside of the Big Apple Strat that I got it in, so I didn't think this was a very common pickup. If I'm incorrect and it is in fact easy to find, I apologize for the title of my thread.

Second pickup on the page. Costs the same as the PG.

Ah, I see. Thanks for sharing that link. Now I have more confidence trading; if I regret getting rid of something that I previously thought was hard to come by, I'll know where to get it again!

The trade still stands: PG+ straight-up for any hot Duncan humbucker.

Many of the forum bros have measured their PG+ and it is generally a little hotter than the Duncan PG.
Gibson LP Melody Maker -- stock, Epiphone Dot -- Jazz neck and '59 bridge, Fender Telecaster Blackout Deluxe -- stock, 90's MIM Standard Strat with Duncan Texas Hot Custom in the bridge.

Everyone that's measured the PG has said that it's never 8.5k (as it says on the website), usually between 8.0k and 8.3k. Yet, they've said that they've had a PG+ read 8.7k.

This made me curious so I put it next to a white pickguard, and it is actually off-white.
