It is not bright white, or at least it is somewhat darker than the standard duncan white. Its formal name is parchment if my memory serves me right. Check this link to see a pic. The bridge is my 8.75K PG+' and the neck is a duncan white 8.10K PGb with an a3 magnet. Parchment matches much better than the fender white pickguards.Originally Posted by hamerfan
Yes, I have tried it with an a3 magnet. I end up liking mine more with its stock a5 mag. It might be because mine is 8.75K.
BTW, I remember my Bro John (StratDeluxer) having one measuring 8.20K. So this hotness is not very consistent. You gotta be lucky!
And a final note: All the PG+'s have STANDARD SPACING as Benjy said. It was first developed by Duncan to match better with the tx special single coils which have quite an output. Do a search, and you'd find Evan's post about this.
