    That'd be the custom 5...both pickups use an alnico 5 magnet.

    The both of them need the right guitar to sound good IMO! The C5 needs a guitar that is dark and the JB needs a guitar where the wood is VERY tight sounding. To me they are kind of special use pickups (they need the right axe to sound any good).
