Default Any good singers out there

Anyone fancy doing a vocal over my recent "under the bridge" cover. It would be cool to hear your different styles.

If anyone is up for it get the track here

Too bad I don't have the software needed.

I'd love to give it a shot...

Vocals is one area where I need some improvement. I'm looking into taking lessons this summer. Sorry I can't help you.

Are there already words to it? I can sing but I can't write lyrics. If I had some lyrics I'd give it a shot.

Love that song, and I've sung it millions of times in the shower. I wish I knew how to record over top of that (with more quality than microsoft sound )

That song was one of the reasons I got a jag and one of my favorite songs to play

    anyone recommend me software?

I fancy myself a decent singer... I've been working on it lately. I have a fairly clean, clear voice (it doesn't have enough headroom to distort and do cookie monster vocals, not needed on this song ) and I do a great lounge singer or opera like Mike Patton impersonation... I can sing a low C, that is, two notes lower than an operatic bass needs, and I start going into falsetto at around middle C. My natural singing voice is a bit nasal, I've been working on smoothing it out.

    I'm up for trying

no offense, but the timing's a little weird, or else I'd do it

Timing is fine, its cos there is no tap some people find it hard to know when to come in but believe me it aint hard at all. Ive had a shot and so have 3 others. I'm looking to see more versions though. Ill post a link to a version one guy did

P.S another reason some find it hard without a click reference is cos of the fact that the chorus is syncopated and starts on the upbeat

I've got something on ****ty microsoft sound where I put my mic between my laptop's speakers and my mouth, that sounds pretty buzzy, but my voice rings relatively clear. If anyone can tell me a better way to record (better software to use) and a way to get it into MP3 and tell me where to post it (maybe just email it to you), I'll do it

(After listening to the original a bit, I'm almost sure the chorus comes in late though... I've recorded myself playing and singing that song a few times before, and it just seems a bit off )
